RIBA trust Matworks Vista to reduce dirt and moisture ingress at HQ
RIBA the Royal Institute of British Architects required significant support from Matworks when the time came to completely renovate their St Nicholas Street, Newcastle Headquarters.
RIBA understandably from a group focused on design required a perfect blend of style and functionality and after being introduced to many companies, finally sought out Matworks as a key partner on the project.
Matworks were chosen to provide a solution to poor performing entrance matting. Vista Dual was chosen as the benefits of having attractive entrance matting were immediate, however functional abilities such as alternate scraper and absorber yarns, ensuring dirt and moisture were reduced within 4.5 metres of the building entrance were also key to the success of this project.
The final decision saw Vista Dual a secondary entrance matting system – Colour Anthracite being chosen with its distinctive pattern you could be forgiven for thinking this entrance mat is a high design carpet tile.
However with its scraper and absorbing yarn systems, the technical abilities of this product surpass any in the market for reducing dirt and moisture ingress into soft flooring areas of a building.
