Over the coming weeks, a greater number people will, slowly but surely, be returning to work and education environments, however, as social distancing measures are still in place, such spaces will have to change to fit Government guidelines.
As businesses, schools, colleges and universities adapt to what has become known as “the new normal”, many are trying to plan how to ensure staff and students can return to their work and learning places safely.
Measures such as hygiene stations, personal protective equipment and regular health and safety checks are, without doubt, important steps to take. Yet, there is still the requirement to create ways to promote safe social distancing.
Some offices or learning environments may look to block off certain areas of a building or floor so individuals can’t congregate, some may change the furniture, or even add hazard tape to the floor.
However, there is a subtle, and certainly more stylish may promote social distancing – using carpet tiles.
