Over the coming weeks, a greater number people will, slowly but surely, be returning to work and education environments, however, as social distancing measures are still in place, such spaces will have to change to fit Government guidelines.
As businesses, schools, colleges and universities adapt to what has become known as “the new normal”, many are trying to plan how to ensure staff and students can return to their work and learning places safely.
Measures such as hygiene stations, personal protective equipment and regular health and safety checks are, without doubt, important steps to take. Yet, there is still the requirement to create ways to promote safe social distancing.
Some offices or learning environments may look to block off certain areas of a building or floor so individuals can’t congregate, some may change the furniture, or even add hazard tape to the floor.
However, there is a subtle, and certainly more stylish may promote social distancing – using carpet tiles.
Paragon Carpet Tiles has launched “Guide | Social Distancing Carpet Tiles” that helps companies and organisations remodel working and learning spaces for social distancing while maintaining a modern element of design.
The Guide range is available in three designs; Individuals, Arrow and Message Arrow, each in two colours; Diversity (Mouse, 830) and Vital (8302) loop pile ranges.
Alongside the new Guide range, all of Paragon Carpet Tiles’ products can be easily lifted up and changed, whether that’s tile by tile or an entire space, making it ideal for creating flooring that helps to guide social distancing.
All the company’s carpet tiles are 50cm x 50cm, allowing for the creation of borders, pathways and even demarcation areas to ensure the 2-metre distance is kept. For example, laying four carpet tiles in a line, or even creating a large square pattern on the floor, can help to make the 2-metre safe distance clear and obvious.
Using bright colours, patterns and designs against modern block colours can create such spaces in even the most stylish and contemporary environments.
As a guide, below, we have included some inspiration from Paragon Carpet Tiles’ previous projects and room sets we have created, alongside the company’s Guide range of Social Distancing Carpet Tiles.
Safe stay and well.
