Manchester Airport is one of the busiest airports in the country, with the Airbus A380 aircraft being the largest passenger aircraft able to use the site. Due to the amount of foot traffic that is passing over the matting, Manchester Airport required a substantial entrance system, but also one that could offer multi-directional performance.

Mat.Works Entrance Solutions recommended its innovative Treadloc 25 modular primary entrance matting system, complete with Workspace Entrance Vulcan inserts. The 25cm x 25cm modular tiles have been specifically designed to withstand heavy footfall and wheeled traffic, the tiles will not expand, contract, fade or become brittle, nor will they bend or buckle under pressure making it an ideal heavy contract solution for entrance areas in every sector.

The simple replacement of individual tiles is also a feature of Treadloc 25 that appealed to Manchester Airport. Due to the click fit modular system, if a single tile stops performing correctly, it can be simply replaced, without any large expense.
