Climate change is one of the most serious threats facing global society. We all need to make every effort to reduce our emissions as much as we can.

Paragon works tirelessly to ensure our carbon emissions are kept to an absolute minimum if not offset them completely wherever it can. The best way to achieve this is to actively participate in energy efficiency programmes and to increase our use of green resources.

Throughout our business we have a neccessity to travel, by air and land for meetings, exhibitions and to supply and receive materials. This creates a carbon footprint in the atmosphere... but that doesn't mean we can't offset this by putting something back for everything we take - we can even give back more!

Paragon actively promotes any scheme that reduces this carbon footprint from car-pooling and environmental travel (our factory is surrounded by purpose built cycle routes to aid the scheme).

We also actively encourage the use of programs such as Climate Care which can be used to calculate the CO₂ emissions generated by the daily commute to work. From here a calculation can be made of how best to meet the cost of offsetting these emissions by investing in projects designed to keep carbon from entering the atmosphere.
